Express repair of Giordano Colombo spindle
A Giordano Colombo RA 120 electric spindle equipped with ceramic bearings arrived at our service center. The customer reported issues with excessive heating and noise during operation.
After a detailed diagnostic inspection, we found that the problem was caused by worn bearings, which required replacement. Since all other spindle components were in good condition, the service was limited to bearing replacement and rotor rebalancing.
Thanks to close coordination with the customer, we were able to schedule the repair to minimize machine downtime. The regeneration was carried out in express mode, and the spindle quickly returned to production — quiet, cool, and fully operational again.
